What You Know about Math (Reflection V)

This momment, we’ll review about some video that has played in my class last Monday. This is the review:

1.      Knowing Mathematics

“What you know about math, What you know about math, What you know about math”

This video reflect about what kind the mathematics is. There are ln(x), limits, log, integral, trigonometry, graph, exponential decline, distance, etc. The song tell that they are knowing all about math.

2.      English Golden X ( Section C )

This time we’ll study equation. There are a sample of a simple equation. The form is very simple.

                In this function, x is called ‘variable’, and b is the contants. To looking for the solve of x, we get the variable a side by it self. 7x = 63

the form above is similar with 5x + 3 = 18, where 3 is the substracts.

3.      English Function ( Section B )

y = ax + c

 

                This form is used in mathematics function and if we try to graphing this function, it will be a stright line.

            If we want to looking for the value of  ‘y’ we have to know the value of  ‘x’ or on the contrary. There are two relation in this function, the equation and inequalist. The example for equation is 3x = 4, and for inequalist is x > 8.

            Because of y = 3x + 4 is the function of x, so it can be wrote y = f(x) = 3x + 4. The standard form is f(x) = 3x + 4, and this is the codependent relation between x’s and y’s. There are only one value for one variable. The algebraic function is consist of 2 variable or more.

            If in g(x) function g(x) = x² + 2x + 1, and there are x = 5, to get g(x) value, we just have to subtitute x = 5 to g(x). So, the value of g(x) is g(x) = 5² + 2.5 + 1 = 25+10+1 = 36.

4.      English Degree

10 =   revolution

 

In this level, radians and degree have a measurement relationship. 360⁰ is degree of full circle. 90⁰ is right angle and 180⁰ is stright angle.

The convert of degree and radiant is as follow ;

360⁰ = 2  radiants

180⁰ =  radiants

1⁰      =  radiants

5.      English Integer

Whole numbers can not be negative, can not be decimal or fraction. The number line is never end. There are vertical and horizontal line.

                              The negatives number have a minus sign before the number.

6.      English Trigonometry Function

           Trigonometry function is used in triangle and timezone. There are sine, cosine, tangent, cotangent, cosecans, and secans. The application of trigonometry not only in triangle and timezone, but it used in the elevation corner in calculating many physics material. In triangle, the used of trigonometry function is as follow;

7.      Teacher Quadrilateral (4 angle )

              There are 5 kind of quadrilateral, as follow :
